Paesaggio Scotellaro. Materiali per "Cantilena" (e per la prima Rosselli)

The article starts from the intellectual friendship between Rocco Scotellaro and Amelia Rosselli, then proceeds to focus on the early poems by Rosselli (specifically Cantilena. Poesie per Rocco Scotellaro). Rosselli's short poetic text, her Italian debut in 1953, displays the mourning for Scotellaro's early death and portrays a contradictory absence/presence of her friend into the landscape of Basilicata. In our contribution a theme-based analysis is offered. Through close reading, we investigate on Rosselli's sources (Campana, Jung), both identifying cross-references to Scotellaro's poems and proses and reading Cantilena in continuity with her poetic texts up to Diario ottuso.

Background Sprint performance is an essential skill to target within soccer, which can be likely achieved with a variety of methods, including different on-field training options. One such method could be heavy resisted sprint training. However, the effects of such overload on sprint performance and the related kinetic changes are unknown in a professional setting. This paper explores a possible anthropological dimension of place by providing an interpretation of Helmuth Plessner’s philosophical approach which proposes to understand it as a twofold “implacement” of man – discussing both the place of man in the natural world and man’s specific relation to place that makes him take his place in the natural world. Living in urban interstices: the survival practices of excluded Gypsies in Italian borderlands.

The paper focuses on the case-studies of nomad camps in Italy, where groups of “gypsies” live in condition of ghetto. The nomad camps generally constitute a world out of the city, as an encompassed microcosm. They represent a borderland or a grey zone. The only interaction between “them” and “us” happens when Romanì exit from the camp and cross the municipal streets. Roma people develop a capacity to survive in urban interstices. These practices consist in unusual welfare forms of material help for day by day survival, while living in a condition of human rights negation by majority society members.
